Melissa Graves-Brown

Born in Florida, Melissa Graves Brown now resides in Hailey, Idaho with her husband and children. She has done various types of artwork but is now painting a series of landscapes that emphasize imagination and attention to nature. "I paint mostly from a minds eye and I am inspired by the sounds, smells, and sights of our grand landscape...color remains my subject, only pushed into the shape of landscape. Eventually the painting takes on a life of its own," Melissa says.
